Gateley Legal advises Palatine on investment in medical procedure group

Gateley Legal

The Corporate team in the Manchester office has advised Palatine Private Equity on its investment in Veincentre Limited, the UK’s leading clinic specialising in state-of-the–art treatment for varicose veins.

The funding from Palatine’s £100m Impact Fund, which targets companies with a social and/or environmental impact, will be used by Veincentre to provide more affordable specialist treatment to people.  A decrease in NHS funding in the sector has made the need for lower cost procedures even more important.

Gateley partner Rebecca Grisewood led on the deal and was supported by legal director Kate Richards, senior associate Leigh Whittaker and solicitor Imogen Cox.
Rebecca said: “It's great to be able to advise Palatine on this innovative investment which will greatly assist in the availability and affordability of varicose vein treatment.  We look forward to working with them again."
